This imagined tablescape is a collaged manifestation of my gratitude for finding/creating a home here in Charlotte, North Carolina. I’ve found a beautiful community, so much light, and a sense of fulfillment and peace I have never known. You’ll find moments and references to old work in this piece, a nod to all the work I’ve put in to get to where I am now. Cheers to all the work we have yet to do — and, I know what I bring to the table, and I’m ready to receive the abundance I’m working towards. Despite the daily horrors, joy persists. Art is the way. A better world is possible, I promise, and we’ll make it.
