Hand sanitizer is a relic of our current world, holding far more meaning than ever before as we navigate a global pandemic. This little object gives us a sense of security in a chaotic society, acting as a shield and easing our consience as we gather in groups. Though rubbing some Purell on our hands is unlikely to prevent us from spreading germs, it's an interesting ritual our society puts faith into.
